ta-da, here i am wearing my favorite pair of jeans and carrying my favorite bag! i think these jeans are wonderful because they elongate the legs, and who can say no to a cute tartan shoulder bag? let me know what you guys think =)

Hi! I'm a college friend of Mochi's and wanted to share my outfit for my Lunar New Year dinner celebration with you. I went to T.J. Maxx a week ago with a friend - I love the prices there but the selection is usually hit or miss for me. On this occasion, however, I found a beautiful lacy top that I thought was adorable. It looked slightly oriental, with the flowers and the V cut (on both the front and back), and I thought it would go well for many different occasions. In this picture I paired it with a beige camisole underneath, a miniskirt, and tights (since there's still 2 feet of snow outside!). I've never paid much attention to fashion before, but how did I do?

my heels kept getting stuck in the dirt, but i had a blast taking these photos in the woods, hehe. for my second weekly entry into the color brigade, i have chosen to wear green, black, and yellow. (the color brigade challenge is hosted by kileen's "cute & little" blog, and the task is to create an outfit consisting of at least three colors.) what do you guys think?
