~fresh new backdrop~

dress: express

hello everyone! today my excellent photographer friend from college kindly helped me take these lovely photos in front of this gleaming fountain. it's almost february, yet the sunlight here is still as strong as ever, unlike what i'd become used to during dark boston winters ^.~ sorry i had to squint my eyes so much in the photos, the sun was uber bright, though i was happily basking in its warmth. leave a comment and let me know what you guys think =)

ps. photos courtesy of jerzy szablowski. his websites can be seen here: http://joszablowski.org/ and here: http://slashpsi.digart.pl/digarty/. thanks again!

I love dresses that look like separates! They're so effortless to wear and the top always looks perfectly tucked into the bottom. Adding to my appreciation of this outfit is that I was crazy about turquoise (and coral) last summer.

The stirrup leggings/tights and flats seem like something off-duty ballerinas would wear, so that's another thumbs up from me. Then again, I don't actually know what ballerinas wear on the street -- haha!

@justine: i totally agree about the dresses! turquoise is such a nice color, and i was wondering if the footless tights and flats looked weird, hehe.
