~peephole pumps~

top: united colors of benetton
skirt: banana republic
shoes: unisa from dsw

this skirt reminds me of spring and warmth, and i hope my lovely friends living in boston and other cold areas can experience some of both soon. i like the skirt's color and the accent added by the buttons with gold borders. the side peephole on these pumps is also most endearing and for me, cancels out the fact that the front of the shoe has a squarish toe, since round-toe shoes will always be at the top of my favorites list. leave a comment and let me know, what do you guys think of the outfit?

Great green skirt! I am seriously dying for more colored skirts. Or patterned. Anything really before the 30 for 30.

I would add green jewelry. I love that skirt. Also DSW has this great nine west shoe out right now. That would go great with the skirt. It is a white pump with pink, green and black flower on it. Super cute for spring. I can't find it online to show you.

When I first saw this post, I didn't comment because I couldn't pinpoint why I wasn't keen on this outfit. Now that I've thought about it, I think it's because I would prefer for my eyes to be drawn upwards towards your face rather than focusing on the skirt's cheerful green. A statement necklace (either long or chunky) or colored scarf would help break up the solidity created by the plain black tank blending with your black hair, and thus create more visual interest up top.

The side peepholes on the pump are unique and adorable. The pattern also makes them look designer chic.
